This is when Greg Steinberg, passed riding his bike. Payton, badly injured, managed to pull herself to a nearby road after Morgan and Anissa had left. Unfortunately this was a trick, and Morgan began stabbing Payton for a total of 19 times in the arms, legs, and torso with a 5-inch kitchen blade by Morgan. Being led into the forest, this was when Morgan told Payton to lay down and cover herself in sticks and leaves to hide. The following morning was the moment Morgan and Anissa had been waiting for.ДavidвЂ™s Park contained a forest on the outskirts, where Anissa suggested they go for a walk and play hide-and-seek in the woods. This did not come to fruition due to the girls being вЂњtoo tired.вЂќ They decided to change their plans for the night of the slumber party. Morgan and Anissa had made a master plan to attack Payton originally on the night of May 30, 2014, by taping her mouth shut and stabbing her in the neck. How would they do this you ask? Kill someone.

The next morning, the three went to the park.ДЄfter the incident, it was discovered that Morgan and Anissa believed Slender Man was real, and they wanted to demonstrate their loyalty to him in order to become his вЂњproxiesвЂќ, live in his mansion, prove his existence, and prevent him from harming their families. Payton recalled the slumber party being different than the previous years, as Morgan didnвЂ™t want to stay up all night. Unfortunately the slumber party would soon take a turn for the worse. PaytonвЂ™s mother, Stacie, recalls Payton being so excited. In 2014, MorganвЂ™s birthday had rolled around and the annual slumber party she had every birthday was among them. Payton supported their game play, as she didnвЂ™t want to lose her friends, but nonetheless found the game odd and frightening. Morgan and Anissa had found the game, Slender Man, and soon became obsessed. 2 years later, Anissa Weier entered the picture, befriending Morgan and pushing Payton to the side.
